Radford wins 3rd time at Burnside. Fairview has week off.
14 July resulted in an exciting night of racing at Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, KY. Doug Radford took his #11 Honda to victory lane for the 3rd time this year. A field of 11 cars showed up. Radford qualified on the outside pole behind the Honda of Janet Beck. Janet was able to hold off Radford for the Trophy Dash. The number 13 of the Race for Christ Team took the heat win. During the feature, Radford kept the pressure on Janet Beck for the entire race, finally getting past her while lapping traffic with a couple of laps to go. They put on a good show.
Radford has this proven winning Honda for sale (already working on another one). If interested call him at 270-864-4319. This is a race ready winning car complete with everything from new paint and a good way to get starting in racing cheap (he wants to keep the seat).
Mike Todd took the win in the Trophy Dash and Feature in the Chevette Class, with Gerald McGowan 2nd and Steve Beck 3rd.
The rest of Kinfolk racin had the weekend off. Look forward to seeing you all at Brownsville and Lake Cumberland next weekend.
